but frankly you will end up getting proper boots anyway so why not get the good repros to start with. Until then any black boot will do!

Natural brown boots as supplied were initially dyed black in WW2 but later orders were to leave them undyed. Even so, brown boots when well used and looked after will become very dark with leather protection applied.
