I would have thought come 1944 almost any combination would have been acceptable. Certainly a good look the feldgrau and dot pattern. Possibly less likely to see M36 tunic with Dot pattern so late in the war unless it was an NCO or officer who has a custom tailored tunic. Arnhem seems a good period for such combinations.
