I found that removing the padding and crushing was often enough. Always left the metal plate in as it allowed you to shape it better.

We are on it regarding the Lee Enfield. K98 wise I do think you will see a new one with the PPS selling at £250.

As said above just a rebrand. I've sold both. Exactly the same gun but the latest batch are from Forcecore. No idea why. Real wood versions are ncie.
