Hi guys
I'm still composing my 7.Freiwilligen Gebirgs Division der Waffen XX "Prinz Eugen" impression and a doubt apeared.
Can i use an NCO Schirmmütze with infanterie piping or have i to try and find one with the proper piping!?
If so i'm screwed 'cause it's preaty hard to find those in bright green
Best regards

I'm guessing here (hopefully someone with more knowledge will confirm / deny it), but I would think green piping would be correct.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
If you can't find a green one you could try the old trick of buying a white piped one and colouring it with a green pen.

Thanks for tip

Isnt white piping correct for Waffen SS caps [posh caps] after a certain point in the war?
Not my topic but I'm sure someone has the details???

Why not just use an SS Bergmutze or generic oakleaf(or peadot if thats what you like) field cap with your loadout? Thats what I'm using for my 7th SS loadout...

My armoury;
Tanaka Kar98(1942 woodwork and parts), M1 Garand AEG(1940's woodwork and metalwork), MG34, SVT40, Mosin Nagant M44, MP40, PPSH41, Luger and PPK.
Peadot (Dot 44) field caps are pretty much a fantasy items - a bit like Palm Tree helmet covers!

Now we're a country we're run by a..........
And by late 1941 all piping trim was in white anyway..on crushers and such.
