As discussed with Guy at Die Glocke.
Might be cool if we tell players they need to bring their own bloody first field dressing/bandage etc to games.
Kit is a requirement, as is eye protection and an aeg (or equivalent) and players would not dream of coming without them.
Why dont we make it part of the required kit to bring - if you dont bring it you forego the ability to be mediced in game and go straight to regen.
It means one less job for organsiers to faff about with and might look a bit better than strips of ribbon round the wrist etc...
(oh and cracking event guys, very very emersive - couldn't fault it.)

I've seen this a couple of times recently, but you really should know better, so don't escape me this time!! ![]()
It's "immersive".
Thank you for that useful contribution...
So what are your thoughts on bandages?

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Well it's a good idea..
I know what type I prefer... ones that fit in my ffd pocket, which the modern one I have doesn't.
I also lost my (too short) supplied one at Glocke and instead had people putting tying my hankie on! lol
Heh, seems to be a common modern miss-spelling esp. in the multi-media world!
Cool if punters bring their own bandages, I wouldn't penalise those that don't though. And those FFDs are blummin ridiculous once they are out of the pack - definitely not designed to be stuffed back into pockets!

I had no issue with mine once you cut the bandage part down to about eight inches either side.
Fitted in a german tunics FFD pocket easily.

I'll see what I can do... if I can find mine again... not sure where it went, my airsoft/re-enactment room is a tip at the moment.
