Heh... the fact that they portray a unit of men that "who did not give a damn about the chain of command " doesn't make me want to invite them to any events where I'll have to command them... ffs...

Its more the fact their conduct on camp at Gulch made Neil blume move his tent as he didnt want jeremy hearing or seeing it.

Also threats were made to 'kick the shit out of'' anyone heard criticising the group.

I was just about coming round to them too...

Sod it, for your eyes only guys cos I think you should all see it, Zero Bravos PM.

If I went on this forum and had posted 'dont go to bloody gulch, dog co are all .... etc etc' you'd have been livid.

IF is the biggest word in the English language, hindsight being 20/20 vision...
If you had posted that, you could have saved Neil and Jeremy Blume and myself about £300 icluding food petrol and game fees.
As per forum rules, if you haven't got anything nice to say etc I've been polite but between ourselves on a private PM Dog Co are a bunch of non hit taking cnuts. My tent was next to their social area ( Neil had to move his, as his son was with him and he didn't want his boy to hear the level of conversation) A typical quote was "If anyone critisizes Dog Company, remind them there are 12 of us who will kick the sh#t out of him"
I'd ban airsofters from all three Elite Action Games sites if I ever heard that comment from a regular airsofter, let alone a WW2 airsofter! Althogh regular airsoft is considered lowly on this forum, some of us still maintain satandards.
Gultch was a walk on day in uniform with the Axis as cannon fodder for Dog Company, but I met some really great people, held my own gameplay to a good standard and learned how not to run a game.
You live and learn :good:

Its not news to me, I was there!
They were drunk and bawdy overnight, that is true. One good reason NOT to allow under 18's to events, but that's by the by.

Many of the Dog Company team I had never seen before, you lot certainly haven't, and these are the perpetrators. Chaps we know like Spiers, Doug, Pat etc are definitely NOT of this type.

As for cheating. Well, non-hit taking was rife on the US side but I can't hand on heart say DC was responsible - they all look the same. It took myself out of game on three occasions to try to identify what was going on - there were so many new players and new faces it was impossible. All I am saying is that it is an easy option to say DC were the cheaters.

The only time I can positively identify a member of DC cheating was biguk who was on the end of a line that did a charge towards our tank, which I was using for cover. Shamefully, I had my finger on the trigger of the MP44 on full auto the moment the charge started. biguk was my easiest target and he took the lot (much the same story for the rest of us, each different targets) but still then ran. 'Twas like a zombie game. Luckily, when we retrated dead we had a good laugh about it, but it was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I know when you charge its difficult to stop, hit or not, but still....

Anyhoo, while we are agreed that DC is not welcome at CiA, PBI or indeed AGS games it doesn't have a lot to do with the forum. If there are problems within the group it is up to them to sort out. Alex is clearly trying to distance himself from them, I can't see why he doesn't just leave - I'm sure Pat would have been horrified if he had been at Gulch. Attempting to bring them back into the mainstream may be a catalyst in their reform. Or I could just be wildly optimistic, as per ususal!

I get the impression Pat and Doug are very unhappy about the way its been handled.

While I'd probably not use the words 'not welcome' at a PBI game, They'd be allowed to come and booted straight off if any of the gulch behaviour manifested itself.

Its a moot point as I think they dislike us more and wouldnt turn up even if we did a 101st airborne on d-day game.

So far I've had Pms off welsh, pat, big uk an d spiers independently apologising and trying to sort it out.

PM from Beds'nHerts:

I DEMAND MY OWN SPACE
Can I have a dedicated forum site for my new group please David?
It’s the snappily named Eisenbahn Pionier Kompanie 618 (motorized) but we prefer the moniker of the Foul Four.
These brave men built and operated aerial tramways to supply troops in mountainous areas where transport was otherwise difficult. This is our tribute to those brave men.
They were notorious for shunning the metric system and would often eat sausage that hadn’t really been stored very well. Their battle cry was "no sleep 'til bedtime" - those crazy SOBs
Any late 1944 Norway campaigns that you may be running will be right up our street.

Very funny! Martin is well aware of the DC situation and I told him they didn't demand but they were offered, in the hope of changes.
