Yes, just the £'s and umlauts that have have suffered - although it shouldn't have as we moved from Unicode to Unicode. Still, I can live with that and I have busied myself making corrections where I have noticed the glitches.
Rich - phpBB3 has a custom profile field facility built in so I have incorporated a required field on the registration screen, much as you did with the mod you made previously

I'll be soon be adding a 'global announcements' facility which will appear on every page. phpBB3 only went 'gold' a few days ago so I'll wait for the mod to be checked as it was written for the betas.
I wondered how you'd done that, dave... I didn't think you'd gone off and learned php!
