Okay... I've just deleted your posts Guy and Steve... sorry but they were both out of order and heavy handed. I'd already dealt with the problems on this thread and had posted. The thread had quietened down as a result. Your input was not required and both posts were actually rather rude.

This is not the face that we should be putting forward as mods.

I have locked the thread.

yeah... I know... Guy's was the problem one... I just don't think yours was really needed... You'd not been involved in the thread at all and it was just a bit cheeky.

If it wasn't for the other one I'd have left it in there.

I think it did make sense to chop it at the point where folk were apologizing to Angel to be honest...

As a rider to this episode though and a general point. It's a good idea to respect fellow moderators; don't delete other mods posts or unlock a locked thread (or vice versa) without at least bringing the point to other mod's attention first. Of course, technical error or omission correction is fine and there will be occasion when a rapid on the spot decision has to be made, but surely that will be with other forum user's posts, not mods.
