A slight change around for 2009, here is a summary:
Welcome to 16th SS who now have their own forum section. As it's a private forum only members of the 16th SS can post there but, as with all private forums, the contents can be read by all visitors to the forum, registered or not.
WW2 game sections have been promoted higher up the table - after all, without people actually turning up at games this forum would be pointless!
All non-WW2 airsoft items have now been moved to Off Topic or it's subsections. Hopefully this will keep things a bit more focussed. Incidentally, Off Topic can't be read by non registered 'guests' or search engines.
Main categories are now collapsible - if you have no interest in Russian stuff (for example) then just collapse the category and save some screen space.
Following many complaints about slipping posting standards we have put in place a mod team with appropriate sanctions in an effort to curb lazy or text-speak posts. There is an etiquette to forum posting that has built up over the years with good reason and it's hoped with a light touch things will improve.
Registered users will have noticed the avatar section has changed a bit. Instead of the old vague 'Fought at the Somme' scale of post count there is now a bar that increases with post count. No need to try spamming posts to get more bars 'cos the grading is somewhat logarithmic! (And moderators will be on your back if you try 
) The stars beneath the avatar are given for each six months as a registered user. So, no new information, just a graphical interpretation.
