Guess we'll be seeing the Yanks armed with something other than dozens of M1A1s in the near future
Seems a reasonable price
man do I want one of those.
yes me too, i hope it will be available in germany.
Nice price, and a mag is just $10! I hope those fit a VFC BAR as well.
Apparently its a clone of the vfc so they "should" fit. Depends on how well they've done it.
It's a really nice lookin piece of kit.
I wonder what the price will be on these when they show in the UK?
Lucky to see change from £350 I think.
£350 still not a bad price considering some of those 'moderners' will pay an arm and a leg for a gucci M16 or mp5
Yeah it's not too bad, but if VFC is a Gucci then this is the Guchi you'd get at a market. Looks like the real deal but not quite.
Not saying it's going to be awful or indeed any different to the VFC, just that it's a clone, but the fact that it's limited edition* and ww2 means that they'll charge over and above the costs for a modern equivalent.
After all where else are you going to get a a BAR at that price?
Maybe all the demand for the CYMA Thompson has finally got it through to the cloners that WW2 weapons are in demand more nowadays. Roll on a cheap Garand aeg!
*Limited to how many they can sell.
touche.
Alas American firearms are not my bag. I have a US Army Tank crew loadout complete with original fibre helmet but no fuckin tank lol, got an M1911 pistol to go with it, but that's it.
Let's face it clone airsoft is a bit like south-end on market day. U know for sure there will be copies, originals and some down right mingers !! It's picking the best of the bunch that's the real art lol
Never mind the Garand, (I already got one! ) get a decent clone AEG MG42 out!!
get an MG42 out!!
Ah, I quite like my custom one
Bet you'd like it more if it was $270, came ready to go and had a guarantee.
the price deffo wasn't $270, but he we're talking only one of two UK custom MG-42's. It came ready to go has some original parts and it's got a guarantee.
To take down opposition. It's been used in the field and works a treat.
I sourced the original parts for it. Not bad when u consider the lack of commerically viable MG-42's.
I had hoped to bag one of te viva MG-34's but it didn't happen - those lucky owners dagnammit
I think I'd forgo a guarentee for real steel parts myself! Was also drooling over the '34s but alas, never saw hide nor hair of one.
One of my mates has a deact 42 and I'm not sure I could lug it around in the field all day. And thats without ammo!
I think I'd forgo a guarentee for real steel parts myself! Was also drooling over the '34s but alas, never saw hide nor hair of one.
please note the original part that were aquired were things like front and rear sights, a couple of covers etc, nothing to do with any de-activated dodgyness.
I know, I've seen various threads on guns you've built, and know the average content of real steel is low compared to other parts, and that it's smaller bits just for the look, but it's cool that they are in there.
Ah an other I was thinking of making, oh well.
Free speech is expensive these days!
Is this now available in the UK yet? Chomping at the bit to get one, sod the expense...
Show me a man who will jump out of an airplane, and I'll show you a man who will fight!

CRY HAVOC AND LET LOOSE THE DOGS OF WAR
I'd have thought airsoft world would have had something on their site if this was ready yet.
