I had a quick look at one of these today, I'll borrow it tomorrow have a play with it and let you know on here. Initial impressions, it's very wide, and quite heafty, it may even be potmetal topslide. I'll pass it through the chrono and take it out in game and see what I think.

CM.123 Airsoft Electric Pistol.
Comes in a cardboard box containing the gun and a magazine, a cleaning rod, the battery a charger and a speedloader along with the usual set of instructions which have an Engrish translation.
The pistol itself is a hand cannon! I'm not sure of correct 1911 dimensions but the topslide is over 8 inches long and about an inch and a quater wide! Ok so it's a big boy and weighs in at a heafty 830g with battery and mag. I didn't manage to get an accurate chrono reading but I think it's quite low at 180 out of the box. I'll charge the battery in the gun and the chrono and test again. Having said that I fired a mag through it and the bb's seemed to get quite a good range. The gun does have an adjustable hop. It has the usual pistol grip safety but the secondary safety is a selector between single shot and full auto. The trigger responce on single isn't very good but on full auto it is great fun.
The topslide is made of potmetal, the rest of the body and grips are plastic although the base plate and lanyard loop are made of metal which means there is a reasonable chance of it staying fixed on.
To sum up it's never going to win any awards for looks or authenticity but it will still work at any time of the year.

Yeah, it's well over 1/2" longer than my WA 1911, and the slide on the WA is about 7/8" wide, as you say the AEP is about 1 1/4" wide.

It does feel wide for a 1911, and generally large, but the thing is it does look quite good.

I've not had chance to chrono it yet, but let's face it, it's an AEP, so low fps, but expect good range.

I'll add more when I've used it, and with in game feedback.

Me and a pal bought one each, so I'll pass on his comments too.

the hops on the aep's allways were good with the bb's allmost floating to a stop at a far greater than expected range.but im pleasantly suprised by a metal slide.

Very doubtful, it doesn't like the Bianchi, or P58.

Then that is it's biggest problem then :(

Yup, it shoots well enough (not tested in game yet), and looks pretty good...

...but it's undoubtedly a big bugga (stat's as my earlier post).

My WA 1911 (and my KSC CZ75) is(/are) tight fits in a P37, the 1911AEP is a non-starter.

Still like it though! :happyclap:

Yup, they are a cannon.

Same here. Not found a '37 pattern holster that'll fit it though. Not a massive issue, as i bought it primarily for Cold War, and it fits in a modified '58 pattern holster.

Dunno if anyone's mentioned it, but it takes the same mags as the cyma Glock 18. I've got an extended G18 midcap that fits, and on full auto, while it's in no way historically accurate, it's an absolute hoot!

Thats one reason I bought one, I have a number of mags for my Glock.
Spot on with the extended mag, it's a hoot, try it on an open day.
It upsets people. :happyclap:
