Does anyone know the approx fps for out of the box AGM M14s (two-tone ones)?
The reason for asking is once we get our AFRA cards we'll be turning our two-tones into Garands and we don't want to turn up to Gunman's D-Day+2 and not be allowed to use them (my chinese thompson was doing 355 last time and had to remain in the car after my M14 got jammed).
And - for the record, the chinese thompson hasn't been used since until I get around to running loads and loads of bbs through it to wear it down a bit.
I want to say they come in around 320 fps on avg. I know my garand based on a agm m14 from warren was under the limits for dday
Most of the stock AGM M14s I've seen being clocked at Gunman Airsoft skirmishes have all been around the 314fps-320fps mark.

Thanks.
try firing the thompson on full auto (and then don't fire on single to reset the piston to the rest position.) if you leave it for a while with the spring compressed it may lower the fps a little. this would be a whole load easier if you had a chrono handy to check the muzzle velocity.

i've tried that in the past uber and for some reason its never seemed to work with my airsoft guns. Used to work on my air rifles though springs are a different construction I think
I just thought it would be a whole load easier than pulling open the gearbox, which I'd be more than happy to do if barrie lived a little closer to me!
