Heinrich,

Once you have removed the two small screws that secure the hop unit to the outer barrel assembly, the hop unit and barrel should just pull out to the rear. The front portion of the inner barrel has a plastic or rubber bush around it to centralise the inner barrel in the outer barrel, what I suspect is that the rubber bush is stuck tightly in the outer barrel. I suggest you squirt some silicone or similar oil into the muzzle ( between the inner and outer barrel) then try pulling and twisting at the same time on the hop unit. It will come out i am sure. If that does not work you can try tapping the inner barrel out from the muzzle end using a wooden or hard plastic rod the same diameter as the inner barrel. Only tap it lightly with a small hammer.
I hope this helps.
