The sideways receiver wobble on my MP40 is starting to become very, very distracting.
Does any one have a permanent fix for this?
Thanks.

Drilling and tapping the rear of the receiver and the rear endcap and putting a screw down through it seemed to tighten mine up a bit, still has a bit of give in it after that though!

Is that the part of the gun above the battery compartment where the top and bottom meet then? Would the screw not be visible at the top of the gun?
I think the problem with the gun is that the locking tab behind the magwell that connects the top and bottom of the gun isnt wide enough. There is a good few mm of play between either side of it and the walls of its housing.
A few months ago I actually cut a custom sheet of metal and wedged it in between the tab and its housing, the part was a little wider than the tab. It stopped sideways movement for a while but now its magic has worn of and the gun is in jelly mode again ![]()
