Would anyone know where I could get a spare plastic hop up unit for my AGM Sten?? Who would stock them or would you know if AGM used a stock part from a different gun? I have fitted a suppressor/silencer with a longer M16 barrel which seems to work very well.. (well in my garden at least, further testing to follow!!)
I just thought it would be nice to be able to interchange between the standard and new barrels quickly and easily if the barrels still had the hop units attached.. Infact just a couple of screws..
Regards Chris.

Hi there, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think the hop unit for the agm sten is a custom part, and finding spares for agm guns (body etc) is nigh on impossible. Your best bet would be having someone with the technical know how recreate the hop unit in a 3d modelling program then get a company such as http://www.shapeways.com/ to 3d print the part from resin.

Thankyou so much for the reply. It is sort of what I feared all along.
Kind regards Chris.

Weren't the original Viva Sten hops modified AK units?

Maybe that could be recreated.

Yes, but not modified very much..

They were turned on their side and had the hop mechanism removed. That's all there was to it.
