Well, I have wanted one of these for a while and now I have one!
For those who don't know, the BC-41 was issued before the F-S to early British special units such as the Commandos. While the F-S is still the most elegant knife in the world for advanced knife fighting, for a rough and ready fight the BC-41 is arguably much preferable. And scarier!
So as real ones are illegal to carry or sell in the UK (boo, hiss) due to the knuckleduster element, a rubber one seemed a good idea. Very squishy, it is completely legal. The blade is stiffened to prevent the flaccid knife flop one usually gets with rubber replicas.
