Jay - 168.83 + 37.16 = 205.99
Harborne - 98.09 + 21.59 = 119.68
Doug - 219.54 + 48.32 = 267.86
CW - 219.54 + 48.32 = 267.86
Yith - 22.84 + 5.03 = 27.84
Ramsay - 98.09 + 21.59 = 119.68

Incl 3.8% Paypal and priced in Euros

Double check please!

For working out accurate paypal costs I found this website:

http://ppcalc.com/

Its more accurate than just adding 3.8%

Jay - is the Paypal cost what AZR are asking for or what it would cost us to send money to you? If it's the latter then I might as well just do a bank transfer for free!

the paypal cost is what azr want and they said 3.8%. if you were to send money to me using paypal then there would be a charge on that aswell. i think the way to go would be bank transfer as what you said chommers....its free :good:
how would you do the exchange to euro's though, as paypals exchange rate is not as good as a bank.

Yes, getting a bit complicated!

One option would be to supply AZR with the list of names and amounts owed and each person make payment directly to AZR, saves money swishing around the UK then overseas. AZR then deliver to the one address once all payments have been received.

Aren't AZR in the Philippines or somewhere? They don't have any addresses on their web sites! So why are they asking for Euros?

PayPal Conversion Rate as of 12 Sep. 2008: 1 British Pound = 1.23041 Euros

Also, if you use their web site Paypal 'Buy it now' there is no mention of 3.8% fee - just got up to 'Pay now' and it's just says €130.00 for the 1928 Thompson Conversion Kit....

yep chommers your right, i have just tried it and it goes through with no paypal fee, and it says paying by paypal is free on their webpage. i will email them about that.
is that paypal exchange rate good, as i have bought stuff in u.s dollars and the rate has always been a bit low.
i can only guess that they want euro's as it is quite a strong currency at the moment.

this is the reply i have from azr.

Hello Jay,

Paypal transaction fees
- When your paying using the website paypal fees are not collected at once, but those paypal fees will be carried over on the shipping billing. Where as when i personally send a invoice the item cost, shipping charges and transaction charges are billed. The website payment was really intended for our clients who are non english speaking. bottom line is that the transaction fees are for the buyers.

reference: http://www.freewebs.com/azrmachine/ " General Information"

Separate billing for each one

I can provide you individual billing for each one with a detailed information of the order. I can send this billing on the paypal site.

If you will be kind to send me the names, paypal email address, items to order. and ill will send you the break down of eveything. note: Shipping shall proportioned to value of the item/s ordered. Important: please make sure the all concerned in the buy will proceed. Otherwise if someone backs off the "buy" shipping charges shall adjusted or distributed among those concerned. Customs Duties will be for you to sort out.

Thanks
Claude

pm sent with paypal details for individual billing for expected amount around 119.38 Euro. Once Claude notifies me I will pay him.
I understand that parts will all ship to Jay and we can then arrange collection from you once we have paid you our share of the customs charges that will most likely come our way.
