Well for the hell of it I thought I would convert a L96 that I had.
For anyone that wants a look I made 7 videos just follow the vid responses.
I did have plans for the last video having some fun shooting it at the tank but weather and time ran out

I may still change the mag and make it bigger as it should be.

Looks good.

Now if you can rig up a storage box on the side of the tank with pressure pads in its side, so when it is hit under 30 paces by that thing it sets of a smoke bomb and an alarm inside. :good:

To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"

Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.

Resistance is fertile

I've only watched the first video so I've not got to those bits yet, however I will be going through all of them as I have a L96 and I now know what to do with it :good:

Ok Pete.
It does make the damn thing heavy as hell but nothing like the real one would be
The barrel on mine is about 12" short, as I couldn't work out a good way to change it to steel and still screw into the bolt receiver.
Also a better job would be a detachable mag with a dummy round inside then the mag could be full size and the screws holding my cover would be inside the mag well.

The shape of the grips seems so odd until you actually lay down to fire the thing, because your left hand/arm tucks back by your right shoulder this means that the trigger grip needs to point forwards for clearance. I also wonder if it is to reduce the risk of braking off your right thumb if the recoil goes wrong in some way, the grip would tend to slide back out of your right hand maybe :?
