The front sight on *most* guns are fixed, it is the rear sight which has the adjustment for range and windage.... however!.... It is *very* prudent to make your front sight in a custom jobby adjustable, just incase your irons dont line up with your BB impact point whilst aiming! Once you have them lined up, you can fix your front sight, and leave all of the adjustment in the rear. Like pointed out, it would appear the bren's front sight has some degree of windage adjustment, however you wouldnt want to be doing that when the barrel is red hot!!

Very good so far Dadio, I'm PBI's bren gunner and know the thing inside out, it's looking very good!

Most guns with the exception of British rifles, Bren guns and at least one of the Sten guns? :D
It's an Enfield thing I think.

i have an original rear sight and it has no windage adjustment so i figured it had to be at the front just couldent see any details in the pics i could find, anyway i think this is close enough to pass muster.

thanks again no1_sonuk

gas block attached to barrel and bi-pod fitting partially finished ,still needs holes drilled for gas vent adjustment.i think i will have to get the bi-pod sand blasted and either re-blue it or paint it as it looks a bit shabby as is,anybody know what the original finish should be ?

Leave it, or blue it. Bipods weren't painted. Paint on a ww2 gun is sacralidge anyway!

I'm pretty sure the bipod should be blued. It is on my MkI.
