Was just wondering if the reciever from the budget thompson would fit on a cyma thompson?
Any help appreciated

Not without modification.
I have a budget upper and have tried it on my Cyma Thompson.
The runners are different sizes.
I can't say off the top of my head what the difference is, but I know it's not a direct fit.
Beyond that, I don't know if anything else will work.
I do know once the budget mags are sanded a bit to fit the mag groove, they'll work in the Cyma, so I assume once the budget upper is fitted, it should work.
