The cut out on the reciever for the magazine is slightly diffrent on the M1928 model, higher to accomodate the drum mag, looks like a M1A1 reciever,

yes I agree... but it may be a mistake...

I suspect you are right, but we can't see the whole gun...

However the fact that they're not showing the whole gun and that the text seems to imply that the only difference is the foregrip and barrel, certainly adds weight to your argument!

It does look like it may just be the barrel and foregrip, but even if they did do the receiver, i can't imagine they'd change the magwell as it'll still have to be able to accomodate standard stick mags?

They could make the magwell like the real M1928, it took normal mags & drums, the M1 & M1A1 only took 20 & 30rnd mags, all they have to do is make the kit like the one mosquito moulds used to make,

I bet the Chinese could make a fortune selling m1928 kits, they are already doing pressed steel & wood kits for AKs, lets hope they are reading this forum, they just have to copy the old mosquito moulds metal kit & the CAW wood kit,

That's assuming they don't charge the same as the MM version!

Going off on more of a tangent - surely it's about time they realised what a market there is for an AEG Garand?
