Finally finished my custom made version of the Kongsberg M1914 pistol, based on the US M1911, used a WE 1911A1 as a starting point and did the following changes:
Real steel pistol:
- Filed down and polished the mainspring housing
- Bought correct grip plates and custom filed them for the longer slide release
- Got the slide and frame marked with the same serialnumber as the real steel slide release
Pretty happy with it, I need to fill in the finger groves on both sides of the lower frame and get a longer trigger to be 100% correct but I have not yet decided if I`ll do it, the magazines need to get a lineyard loop on them so that will be done
This is what the norwegian officers used when the germans invaded Norway in 1940, hope you all like it 
My next project will be a custom M1894 Krag Jørgensen rifle and I hope to soon have a complete norwegian 1940 kit
