As with all my spring projects the base for this replica is WELL MB03.

The stock is one piece made out of beech wood and coloured with lindseed oil and red dirt mixture.
Rear sight, mag and trigger guard are made out of plastic(HDPE).
Most of the other parts are made out of metal. There are no real steel parts.

As i cant imagine the SMLE without the bayonet i made a simple one out of some scrap wood.

Considering the SMLE is my favorite rifle ever since I first saw it in The lighthorsmen as a kid it was an obvious choice to build one. As for the rifles I like them more than smg specially the spring ones as they are more reliable and there is no problem with batteries or gas. Well I like rifles and mg-s that is why I started to work on an mg34 today but that is a whole new topic to be.
