No it most likely wont be able to go on. My friend owns an M1A1 and im going to check in maybe a week. Ill tell you when i can find out.

Yup, without major mods to either the barrel or grip, it won't fit. You can easily swap entire front ends over though; two M4 screws and a grub screw.

That grub screw is M3 - you'll need a 1.5mm hex key for that.
was a pretty easy mod in the end all i used was a lighter my very sharp hunting knife 5mm drill bit 6mm tappet screw and some sand paper and job done i just need front sling loop and mount now

ye a heat up with a lighter scrape away with sharp knife and a bit of sanding and went on easy its hard to explain but when you get the fore grip you can see what i mean and just chip away at whatever is in the way oh and a bit of super glue for good measure just incase
and bought fore grip off a nice chap on here

Today I got my gun delivered to my door. Finally I got a WWII gun, I can go WWII airsoft with haha. Once I opened the box I fell in love with my gun, hold onto it, my mind have that film image of Public Enemies and The Windtalker.
However, I got a question to ask you WWII expects. As you know I got a Cybergun 1928, I have a thought wanna change the front vertical fore grip into front horizontal grip (like thompson M1A1). I wanna make my thompson like the one in the film Pearl Harbour. So any ideas people????

Windtalkers, aye ok, but Public Enemies? I never quit watching films till they end as a general rule, but that was the exception to break that rule. Boooooooring!!!!!
And Pearl Harbour......oh dear, where to begin. Awful film, simply AWFUL.

Haven't been in my post thread for a long long time, been so busy lately. It really surprise me what happened, it seem like some have crack it!!! lol now I really really wanna know how to turn it now!!!
buddy its so easy i`m an amatuer with airsoft! just get yourself the foregrip try it on your thompson and the rest is self explanitary after looking why it doesnt fit. the bits that are in the way heat up with lighter and then cut away with sharp knife and/or sand away mark up where hole needs to be drill it out and re-tap it get bolt/screw to fit in and jobs done took me around an hour in total its so easy but hard to explain but you will know what is needed to do when you get one...! as long as you done mess with the actual gun and can put old grip on if you balls up its job done
