I was busy with other activity but I restarted this project.

Lots of little things on this pic :
- I suppressed the wire because glue doesn't do the job, it really anger me
- I adjusted the rear and fixed it with aluminium rivets
- machining the bolt wih spring for electrical conduction (just screwed on the ring)

And I start to work on the electrical ignition. It works but I have to reliable the system (i have some ideas).

Thanks

don't worry, it is only for shooting hard targets (building, armored tower ...), not players

it is compatible for using 40mm air shell, just adjusting the inside

I just have found the ignition system 5 min ago, I have to simplify for decrease the making time but it is really effective and I have a immediate start, really impressive.

At the same time, i'm waiting for my paint can.

I don't know what my wife have plan for this week end but i think my first trials will be on it.

Today was a rainy day !!
One rocket is finished and two others are in well progress.

the firing system is ready : 2 flexible wires for putting on the contact spring and two stiff wires for introducing in the rocket.
There is a fine wire missing on the pic for making the fuse.ette.

Here is the gluing of the fins :
I have made a puck and I put the inner tube inside, gluing the fins and put the external tube with glue.

And this is the secret of the firing.

So the big model rocket is housing a firework rocket ,sort of a cartridge that you re load with a new firework rocket .I thought you were intending to launch the whole thing with a model rocket motor in it ,looked a bit hairy but this is a much better idea .

so I understand why you were afraid , lol

This is still impressive to paint the dummy, it looks great.
On the left, I had painted with acrylic for plugging wood asperities.

What a proper job!!
if only I had the time & patients to start & finish a project like yours.
I think I would be entitled to as much praise as you will get from ww2 airsofters that appreciate the quality of your final product.
Once again blinding bit of kit (the dogs bollix)do you say that in France. :good:

One of the problems any artist has is knowing when its finished ,well done a very good idea well executed .

Hi, can you give the measurements to the parts please?

You did an awesome job and I would like to replicate what you have done.

Measurements would take the guesswork out.

Thanks Rob
