I think some of you may find this interesting:

Some innacuracies (or at least they've contradicted other sources) but nothing important,
enjoy,

I don't know what happened with the Kar98K's, so I can't comment, but as far as I know the arisaka's are out of production; I havn't seen them in stock anywhere for years.
If you're after Japanese weapons, I suggest making your own - those that are out there are horribly overpriced, and none of them look really suitable for skrimishing (although they do look beautifully made). The KTW type 96, for example, is the best part of £2000 for a pot metal MG with 50rd mags, and an AEP gearbox and battery. I don't think a lot of them would be hard to make with the right starting guns.
regards,
-Matt

Someone correct me, if I'm wrong, but Tanaka stopped making most of their older models, when they started making gas cartridge revolver models, wich were banned soon in Japan. Now they are slowly starting make several older models again.
