Reason?

I have a Laffette along with quite a few of the lads getting interested here.....

IF a 42 fits then I'm happy to bring it along (until I get me own 42) for a 42 gunner to use in the HMG role. Obviously this will add a massive element to your games as you can actually have a machine gun NEST to assault as opposed to a position.
The difference being it can be dug, and armoured (Planking, earth banks, a roof, camouflage and needs far more tactical skill to disable (unless of course you use the famous "Spielberg Doctrine" whereby you run straight at it weaving left to right and throw hand grenades into it..... yeah - right! have you SEEN the rate fo fire of a 42?)

All and any info welcomed - I can even arrange to meet up with an airsoft 42 owner and see if it fits.

Bring it to the D Day event, it will fit, I've got an MG42 that desperately needs a laffette, you can share my sand pit, pull up a sandbag and we can blast the fook out of everyone, with flourescent green tracer bb's!

Yup, it fits. I've got a post war one, but all the mounting brackets are in the same place. Once you've dialed in the T&E it makes the 42 even more formidable for firing at extreme range (well, as extreme as the range gets on an Airsoft gun LOL)
