I have one here in South Africa. Bought it as a parts kit, with the real wood kit, and I fitted it with a TB barrel intended for one of my SVD's and a madbull hop-up rubber. Using this till I can get my hands on a Bren. Shoots well and is accurate. Mine is at 385fps. The mags filled to the brim and wound up hold 170 to 180BB's, so as a support gun you would need a few of these.
It is heavy with the bipod fitted, which I normally take off. The only hassle with the wood kit fitted is there is only space for a stick type batteries, but with a Lipo that isn't a problem.
The echo 1 compared to AY has a mosfet. And some more markings on the body.

I have the echo 1 BAR & I wouldn't sale mine to anyone but not becouse I love it, it's becouse I have a small armory & the BAR is my only gun that was a total waist of money & biggest peace of shit I have ever owned since I have been playing airsoft. 
Every time I play a game using the gun I have to strip it down at dinner time to tighten up all the screws that attach the butt to the uper & lower reciever parts. 
The gun should only fire on full auto but at 2 speeds fast & slower but it just fires at the same speed on any of the position on the fire selecter. 
The more you use it the more it will rattle & start falling apart. 
As a result I will not try to sale the gun to another player as I don't do to others what I don't want done to me (get stitched up with a load of shit that you can't do a lot with).
