This is a bit old... G&G announced their Garand at Shot Show 2011.
Yes, we have covered the Garand before: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14783
But I think it is still yet to be released. Do we know what the loading mechanism turned out to be?
They take so long from announcement to release that I wouldn't hold out much hope of getting the Springfield any time soon!
i thought id missed the release if the g&g garand with having had 8 months away from airsoft, blimey they do take their time dont they. hope its released soon then!
Yes not holding my breath on this. Interestingly it seems to potentially have the same fault as the ICS with the gap between the barrel and the, er, other gas bit/thing. Wonder if the bayonet will fit this.
I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.

For the G&G Garand, the loading system turned out to be a 120 round reservoir of BBs with a changeable winder thingy. http://airsoftodyssey.blogspot.co.uk/20 ... ecial.html
New to what we have reported on this gun from previous shows in the US and here in Europe, the magazine was finally revealed! It is a 120 round high cap magazine. Even more surprising is that the actual magazine is an integral part of the gun and the only part that releases from the gun is the winding mechanism, which releases so you can pour BB’s into an internal storage compartment/magazine. After a long chat over a few days with Sam Sze we found that it had been designed based on his very own 1942 real steel M1. We wait with baited breath for more!
sounds like a pretty weird design and i dont like high caps

Don't Marushin use a similar system on their Mosin-Nagant? Besides, depending on how it's constructed it may be possible to retrofit some form of low/mid cap, though it'd mean bodging up a new gun :/
Personally I think they have completely lost the plot. This made me laugh out loud:
"it is very much worth discussing the new initiative of G&G that is being developed in order to turn a hobby, mainly dominated by men, into a sport shared by all. G&G is the first company that we know if who are specifically designing AEG’s for women. Their first attempt was an all pink M4, known as the Pink Storm range that you can see flying around once in a while on sites"
There is no doubt about it; the way to attract women to guns, who aren't already that way inclined, is to make them pink. Perhaps some fake fur too and maybe some diamante.
I know my girlfriend would vomit at such supreme sexism and "Play School" sexual stereotyping.
