Hi Guy's, I've read on "Silent Invasion" GPR section, a suggestion made, post D Day to the powers that were, that the Thompson smg be replaced with a Sten V, am I right in thinking that GPR pilots were armed with Thompsons on and after D Day ??, Were there many other British units operational in nw Europe, equiped with the Thompson ??, maybe it was used by non front line troops engaged in guerila style warfare, hit and run tactics like the SAS or Commando ?? Kev
