hi, couple of weeks ago i got a gas garand, ive been trying it in my house with green and winter gas, neither work, the gas just keeps leaking, i havnt had much luck with gas guns and i wont be buying one in the near future but i would like to know any tips on making it not leak and its really getting on my nerves.
also if i do get it to towk on the first shot the gas just leaks out and its costing me alot of money gas wise and i have spent £477 on it and i am extremely disapointed that its not working.
i have been using it indoors at warm temperatures.

i got it second hand from rockdelta and the gas is inserted into the gun itself.

PM Kermit nicely and offer him booze at UCAP next April and he may offer you some useful advice.
Its a marushin Garand. If it's leaking gas then it makes no difference what gas is put into it. th reason that 134a is recommended is many of these are collectors weapons which ahve plastic internals and the power of green gas may end up damaging the insides.
101 it's most likely a blown seal. where is the gas leaking from. the filler valve or a different part of the weapon? once we have established this then you are half way to fixing the problem. My P38 is leaking like a bitch, well really it wount fill at all as the filler valve seal has died, a common problem on them and I have only ever used abbey ultra on it. P
its being sorted now to the coutorsey of rockdelta_1.0
cheers for all your help guys, its muchly appireciated.
