Well it's worked my end.
These are the pictures of my ICS M1
It wasn't dropped or fallen on. I didn't notice it until the end of the day when a buddy pointed the split in the stock out to me.
It has gone back to Firesupport and they have sent pictures to ICS. So still waiting on news.
As I said in the post before let's hope it's a one off and not a recurring fault.

Was these one of the Garands the guys at the last bullet sanded down to get the mags in and out easier?
That looks like a pretty poor piece of wood, that's not an acceptable occurance for a nearly new item. It seems like a new stocks could do with a good long soak in linseed oil before ever being used, perhaps that would help.

Hmmm. Those cracks look very similar to the ones in my HP Ppsh41. They also appeared after only a little use. I just applied strong glue and carried on.
I then showed the cracks to a soviet re-enactor friend... who showed me his real Ppsh41. It had cracks in the exact same place.
Whilst I can see your point, with the quality of wood glue available these days a crack isn't really that much of a worry really. Certainly it's not the same as a crack in metal or plastic, which tends to be disastrous.
To give another example. My Marushin M1 Carbine fell apart last weekend. The reason, the wood gave way where the screw holds the receiver in place. Glue has been applied and I don't expect it to fail again. (Note, I don't skirmish the gun and only use it as a prop for re-enacting)
If it cracks, wrap it in wire like the SMLE rifles used to fire rifle grenades. Looks legit enough 
Am I right that this is using a m14 gearbox?
I never purchased a wood stock M14 due to the motor being in the grip just not strong enough, or the wood stocks that were strong were just too bulky looking.
When I made my PPSH with an M14 box I took 2 goes at making the stock, I laminated it out of 3 pieces of wood so I could get as much wood in the grip area as possible.

Just found this, but on here people have said that the mags don't fit? This chap has even added the press stud thingy to make the pouch a tighter fit?!?!?
The "press stud thingy" is a standard part of a cartridge belt. He's not added it.
From that pic they do fit, but they make the pouches look a little odd.
If I had to do it I think I'd take the baseplate off. 
used mine at joshs but due to snow and wind was not the best , but tried it the other day at a open day running around with just 1 mag and a speedloader with 0.25 and fired sweet , loved it to bits mags still beding in most around 30-35 and gun always does not fire last 3 as well but friends getting upto about 40 now
apart from the mag i start in the gun all mine have base plates removed and fit in my belt just but i guess it depends by makers if they're a bit more room , no idea what make mine is but they fit but still tight.
guns tend to need a re-oil fairly soon a couple have redone theres and they look nice i still need to do mine as i guessed maybe they dipped only.

After initial gripes which were mostly cosmetic, I am now very very fond of mine. Shoots well, mags need to be filled by a few mm's to make then easier to get in and out but generally it's a good gun.

A bridge too far
The range was good and it preformed well, then I used it on Sunday (19th May) and it fired half a mag and died. It was like the battery was running low. I put a new battery in it and it would not fire. I took it home had alook inside checked the fuse and that was fine. Now I'm totally over it it's on the for sale post.
I have an ICS CXP that did this. I'm yet to look at it, but it sounds like the trigger contacts have got dirty from arcing. This is probably more likely on a semi-only gun with no MOSFET.
