OK chaps, Iv never imported anything airsoft wise because it seams like an absolute minefield, and I generally dont want an early morning wakeup call from the Police/ Customs. But recently A few things have caught my eye that either arnt available yet or are far too expensive over here.

For example an AGM MP001, can be about

I have ordered 3 aeg's & 1 gbb pistol from China so far. I have only had to pay a custom charges on two of the aeg's. All arrived safely and quickly.
Of the two, HM customs required a proof of value in order to calculate the amount of tax they would charge me. I simply sent them a print of the add from the RSOV website. I think the problem was that the guns are so much cheaper that they thought that me or the seller was trying to 'diddle' them.
In all cases the weapons have been cheaper to import than to buy in this country even with the tax added.

Hope this helps

hey syd

I've ordered tons of stuff from hong kong. best site to get the guns from is http://www.rsov.com the owner gives very good impartial advice. hes a few quid more than say gunner airsoft but his service is amazing.

they ship via airmail. and more often than not it gets through customs without charges. mines only been stopped once and even then it got let through. if it does get stopped you pay some tax/duty but it still works out cheaper.

I've been importing Airsoft guns for myself - and others - for over half a decade. I can honestly say i've had less hassle dealing with the HK dealers than i've had with a lot of UK retailers.

I've used (and can recommend)

Redwolf Airsoft
WGC
UNCompany
Guns n Guys
Arms Airsoft
Cobra Airsoft
DEN Trinity

The only one I cant recommend (crap service) is Boom Arms

If you do get hit by HMR&C, expect to pay 5% Duty on the cost of the goods & the shipping. Then 17.5% VAT on that lot (yup, double taxation), then add in a "handling fee" from the Courier on top of that.

Redwolf Airsoft
WGC

I've used the quoted two as well and they are very good. one thing to note about them is apart from a few exceptions they only deal in regular airsoft guns not the chinese ones.

Thanks guys. The things im looking for (Other than AGM Guns to use in conversions-K98/PPSH41/Garand) is stuff like the M2 carbine, revolvers and a few other bits of kit(Hudson M3, shoi custom bits). Generally stuff that is like rocking horse doo doo over here but is still on the HK and Jap websites.
