Even an iffy springer is better than gas in winter.

Simple almost none of us want gas guns of any shape.

Yes, gas, urghh....

Which is why my back up weapon is a springer pistol, at least it will always work.

Is the collectors market much bigger than the WW2 airsoft market though? I guess it must be, or there wouldn't be so much kit churned out for it.

Cheers

ridiculous asking price

561USD doesn't sound so ridiculous to me!

Wouldn't surprise me if they just replace the $ with a £ sign, as far as price goes.

Still not interested unless it's a springer. CBA dicking around with twitchy gas guns that are either too hot, or no better than a pea shooter.

A spring airgun has been the best way to get consistent air pressure for more than 100 years and it still is.
Let’s face it that is all an AEG is, we don't want or need gas.

When you are pulling a bolt back anyway with enough force to launch the BB there is little point in gas.

Gas guns are fun for garden plinking but that is the best place to leave them.

Have you ever used a Tanaka K98 (obviously not)? I beg to differ on your opinion, speaking from lots of experience. With a Tanaka, I have regularly and consistently outshot spring rifle users, both at high and low fps and, at longer ranges. Admittedly, other gas rifles out there a a pile of shit but, the Tanaka K98 is head and shoulders above any manufactured WW2 bolt action currently available and looks likely to stay that way.

Some people also seem to have forgotten that there are already spring versions of Enfields available from Shoot & Scoot, which are not a pipe dream and, available right here in the UK from a respected and reliable retailer!

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Out of the many gas guns the 98k is just about the only one people like and as people say it takes time to get used to it, others above have commented on the 98k.
Yes I have seen the results of the 98k on people a few times :giggle:

The same applies to all custom guns. I suppose there's no pleasing some people! :giggle:
