Gunners a bit cheaper for the bakelite version, (not by much), and is usually cheaper on delivery however RSOV is usually quicker at getting them dispatched. As to import tax it's hit and miss, I've ordered a lot of stuff from Gunner and at the moment I've been taxed on about 50% of my orders.

Have you thought of Warren as I'm sure he was talking about supplying these.

wish I'd seen this sooner. I wont order from gunner anymore. he goes through periods where he takes upto 4 weeks to dispatch stuff. trying to get ahold of him for tracking details is bloomin difficult and when stuff gets missed off orders trying to sort thats impossible too. I have alot of friends who wont touch him with a 50ft pole anymore. just read the acm section on acsuk for more info

keith however is a god. it goes out the next day. has great customer service. rarely gets stuff wrong, and when he does corrects it right away without question. and you can haggle with him. yea hes a few quid more but its worth it.

other nice thing about keith is if he doesnt have it he'll get it. hes friends with the chaps at redwolf and wgcshop so will get anything at no extra cost

Gotta say, I've bought 3 weapons and a set of spare mags from gunner, he is slower than most, but I've always got the goods at the end of the day without any real problems. He even did an upgrade on my AK74 and it shoots real good and far, can't speak for anyone else though!

What would the import duty be on that if we unlucky enugh to get hit for it?

With Duty, VAT and ParcelFarce handling fee it would be about

I was once asked to send them my paypal receipt as proof of value, the bummer was that Keith had split the parcel up into three parts and i initially never had to pay duty on the first two parts so they stung me for all three! took about a month - still its the law and when ordering from abroad one should expect to pay the duty vat etc. Extensive threads on this subject over at ASCUK.

LOL. On my last order from HK they 'kindly' offered to reduce the customs declaration value an mark it as a gift. I declined and asked for full value partly because I am an upright citizen  who pays his dues (reluctantly) but also because I didn't want an argy-bargy with officialdom and felt

yea its real pot luck. One of my friends in the USA bought me my mp40 as a early bday gift. he paid keith who then sent it to me. had 5 extra mags too. got stopped by customs. so got him to email them the invoice etc. and then got sent on without a penny of charges despite being well over their threshold
