Just noticed the Kart M66 on RSOV, with a short mag and resprayed top cover it might pass for a short Garand ?
:)

Good spot, first time I've seen one of these. Tempted to get one as a backup to my gas Garand.

Are these made by the same guys that make the other good cheapsoft M14s?

I agree it should be a simple conversion but what you'd end up with is a Garand Tanker which according to the various discussions I've seen it's a post war variant, (oops slipped in to stitch count mode  )

Are these made by the same guys that make the other good cheapsoft M14s?

I don't think so, I'm sure that I saw a review looking at all the different M14s available and the Kart was not quite as good as the AGM one.

Yep, apparently the Kart wasn`t quite as good as the AGM M14 and I agree it wouldn`t be 100% authentic as a Garand but it may provide a cheap alternative. Maybe some talented person on here could figure out how to make a short mag? :)

ahem. no the makers of the other m14s are AGM which are very solid(apart from a polarity issue). the first kart offerings were crapola. these however are supposed to be better. how much better i dont know yet. but we'll soon hear no doubt. and yea it does look like a garand tanker

Thompson, Grease gun or Carbine would be more correct, Oddball ;)

Yup a sten would be more fitting

although we sold a lot of tetrarch to russia

The US used the m22 Locust as a light tank in the role of tetrarch and loaned us a few as well.

Only joking really but I have just ordered a cheap metal M4 from RSOV to fit into the tank as a coaxial gun, with the stock and barrel jacket removed.

Russia yes I was tempted to make it a Russian version.

Mine has arrived

its pretty good, the overall appearance is good, the receiver is metal as are all the usual bits inc trigger, trigger guard, outer barrel etc, its firing well at 330 fps with 0.2's, its accuracy is not as good as I would have liked but I will prob pop a systema 6.04 barrel into it at some point & a new hop rubber.

The wood effect stock is shiny but looks like wood, the only thing is on one side of the stock its got small words moulded into it saying "cal 6mm BB, Warning Not a toy, for 18 years & up, before using read the manual" they are small though & not that noticeable, the other thing is rear sight aperture hole is not there, its like blank, just needs a hole drilling in it, the gearbox casing is metal & like the normal M14 style, they all have what appears to be a flaw in them, even the TM, one side of the casing is bent at the front, I guess its an after thought to stop the cocking lever catching it.

It comes with a 1500mah battery which surprisingly works well (not even charged it yet) & the motor sounds lively with a good rate of fire, poss a EG1000 equivalent, unlike Gunner the RSOV one comes with 1 mag not 2, the TM mags fit in ok, better as they hi caps hold 450rnds, this hi cap only holds 300 odd, the scope mount is in the box but not fitted, the battery wires are the normal way as are the leads so no need to swap the wires :-)

Not bad for
