How do you do it? I have the sling attached like this:

The front hook falls off all the time, almost every time I take the SMG off my shoulder. Am I supposed to clench the hook?

I just close up the gap in the hook. If you keep going and overlap the end a little (a bit like a split ring) then you can, with a bit of wiggling, remove it easily enough by turning it flat to the barrel but it will be secure enough not to fall out in use.

Where is the rear supposed to be attached? That or the hole in the "buttstock" or the one near the trigger?

Why do you always carry that umbrella?
-Bad memory. Never could remember the password. Knew no Jerry would carry one. Had to prove I was an Englishman, you see.

Through the hole, then it can't come adrift that end either!

Here you can see the overlap. If it is tight enough then you need to turn it sideways, push it onto the shroud, then twist to get the end into the hole. Reverse to remove.

OK, that's what I thought. Thanks.
