All the Kings Arms lo-caps I've seen are plastic. That's why they're 10-for-£55 cheap.

Yep, the G3 mags are fully plastic. Very similar to to G3 highcaps produced by WellFire (TM compatable).

The plastic halves of the KA lo/mid-caps would be a lot easier to work with/cut down as compared to the metal outer sleeves of a TM lo-cap due to the G3 mags being approx twice as long as a G43 mag'. The internals of a lo-cap, whether TM or KA, would be hell to shorten.

Oh no, the KA, WellFire and TM internals are near identical, but with the TM you'll be having to cut through a metal box section for the outer casing, instead of two plastic 'clam-shells' as for the KA outer casing.

EDIT: There are also STAR mags for the G3, they again are plastic and are also pretty cheap too, but hold a realistic 20rounds only.
