I'm looking for some info from folks who know gas guns: what is the performance and reliability comparison between the KWC and WE models of Luger? I have the WE gas one, and while it performs adequately, I have never been blown away by it; in fact, I spend most of my time using a Crosman CO2 P38 that gives hundreds of shots on a single 12g bulb, and has decent accuracy despite having no hop. Big plus of the Crosman: it never fails.

So... Any info would be appreciated.

Have both and I can safely say having used multiple and seeing them all suffer identical faults without fail the WE luger is crap. I know people that swear by them but I find them to be very unreliable and a ball ache to fix faults that exist by over complication of the design, gun going full auto is the first problem that comes to mind with the mags being an issue of their own =D

The KWC luger on the other hand I absolutely love! The exterior design and trademarks are not up to par with the WE but I can personally look over that, shooting it is absolutely awesome as the co2 gives the gun a nice kick, it's not ridiculousy over powered either first shot is usually just around the 360 mark but after that you're looking between 330 to 345 ish and it's usually good for a good 2 or 3 mags but you will notice the power drop massively near the end of the co2 bulb (bbs aren't dropping out of the gun however)

Biggest downside is the lack of a hop. I mean you're using a 70 to 90 quid gun so this is not an issue for me at all and once you put the right weight in such as 23s 25s 28s you're set! The range is pretty decent as is the accuracy but don't expect a Ray gun, it's a pistol!

I've probably missed quite a bit but for performance take the KWC over the WE any day, your only issue is going to be the powerful first shot and the fact it's a co2 gun but you can 'test fire' before you chrono. No site should be that anal but who knows!

Hopefully this helps you out a bit, I feel like I may have gone a bit overboard but hey ho that's boredom for you =D

I've not used the WE one so can't comment on that but I love my KWC Luger. I'm modifying it into the P04 Naval version and it's a beast. I've described some of what I have done in my blog post to make it skirmish able:

It eats through CO2 carts though, I went through 1 1/2 in my Webley in a full day CQB skirmishing, about 9-10 in the Luger on the same day. Whoops.

It was a 12 hour game day to be fair on a CQB site, that may be pretty standard for GBB guns but I'm used to the Webley lasting two game days on a cartridge :P
