Just finished this build today, I’ve not seen any no.5’s on any Airsoft game but someone must have made one before. I do like the “carbine” size, seems more practical to me.
This is firing 380fps, and accuracy is good, stock workings inside, but have made it tdc for the hop adjustment.
I want to put a few rounds through this, and then check on my cylinder extension design, and if it’s all ok, then I’ll put this up for sale.
Cylinder extensions you say?
This extension enables the charging handle to sit in the correct place, steel tubes inside to correspond with the cylinder, plastic infill aluminium tube on outer, 70mm Allen bolt down the centre, and two 3mm countersunk Allen screws or grub screws to clamp down from top right through to original spigot.
Hey do you build these? How much would one cost?
@thorpey Hi, I make, No.1 mk111’s (smle) No.4’s, and No.5’s. They end up around £350-£375 each. At the moment order book is full, this is a part time job, so they don’t get built quickly. I currently have 15 various models to make of the Lee Enfield.
If you contact me again about February or March, I could probably put you on the list.
Andy.
@lord-elpus no worries will definitely be on board for one of these they look amazing
