No4s are problematic for rear sights when using VSR internals (as it looks Dadio is using here), as the No4 rear sight sits on pivots at the back of the receiver.
SMLEs (or No1 Mk III) are easier to do with VSRs as the rear sight on the SMLE is a tangent sight mounted on the barrel in front of the receiver.
i intend to do a verry basic extension to the back of tht breech secured by the two screw holes that were for the ris rail on the vrs and mount the sights on this.the doner is a tercel vsr clone and 450-470 fps but the choice of doner is up to customers to choose not me ,im happy to work to any spec required as im not the one paying .

had a massive push this afternoon and got a load of little bits done like blacking screws etc,also got the rear sight mounted some paint on and the stock stained.
there's only one thing left to do and thats to put a grub screw in to adjust the hop.

Can't comment on the donor gun, but as has been said before the Denix is a lot more difficult to use than real Lee-Enfield parts, plus £200 seems a bit steep, I paid £100 about 2 years ago for mine.
Incidentaly I bought the Denix with the intention of converting it, however once I'd stripped it down to assess it, (as well as taking in to account how much work it took DM to do one of these), I put it back together and sold it, I've since bought all the real steel parts, (quite a lot less than £200), and I'm intending to use a M700 donor, it looks a lot easier prospect than the Denix.
all finished ,did the hop adjuster today ,it adjusts via an allen screw in the top,even made up a spetial adjuster tool that fits in the stock where the oil bottle would be in the real gun,thought that would be a good idear as it will need adjusting from time to time and the tool will allways be there rather than haveing to find an allen key while in the field.there's not really anything else new visually so just a few shots of it next to my own no4.allso crono'd it today at a wopping 500fps with 0.2g bb's,long live chia guns.have to say these last shots were really difficoult to keep the dogs out off.
