A little project I ran in Nov-Dec'17, for our local WW2 community.

I'll let the pictures do the talking - follow the link at the bottom for the full build thread.

Ours was also a surprise - none of the players knew about it, until they cleared the forest and found the swamp, with the turret emplaced on the other side and covering the entire approach. Gave some nasty surprises to people going head-on against it!

Great project!

Did you think on using main gun as a 40mm grenade launcher? I think M203 will fit nicely inside the turret, and with TAG Innovation grenades that will be a real cannon to use.

With best regards,

Definitely an option, especially considering that the main gun sits on a modular mounting - I can replace the barrel and breech with whatever is needed, without touching the elevation controls or any of the other parts.

Problem is getting those TAG rounds to South Africa - the shipping cost ruins it, even if you can find a carrier prepared to fly pyro in their planes.

We are currently looking at compressed air, and home-grown TAG-style rounds too. We have enough engineers and designers in our group to hopefully figure something out without losing fingers :P
