ive got the box cannon,

its good fps, over 350, and the hop is OK , but nothing special.
the 33 rd mag makes up for lack of accuacy, usually only fires 26 or 27 b4 gas runs out.

mine came with a leaky mag, (very slow leak)

ive still got to get round to fixing it

id give it 7/10 (for a pistol)

hope this helps

UPDATE,

ive had my magazine apart, (top end) and the valve only has 3 O rings, all of different sizes, 1 was "slightly" misshaped, a good spray of silicone oil, and the leaks dramaticly reduced. only the faintest of hiss now, so as long as i top up the gas every half hour , it will be ok.

my big problem is ive no holster, and its to big to put in my belt,

Ive NO WHERE to keep the damm thing, im just gonna use it for resistance games, or as a standby if the mp40 breaks.

power is great though = accuraccy over 20 feet is poor

So power steering fluid "plumps up" old seals?

Interesting, the rubber o-rings that hold the bbs in the shells in my "new" marushin M10 need a bit of "plumping up".

There's a stop leak product for power steering , it's probably this that is being referred to , buy a similar type product at any motor factors.

A lanyard thing would look good.

If its passed 9 there is a 95% chance im pissed.

took me ages to get the mags sorted... but now i love it - I chrono'd it at 400fps with red gas! It has a real 'clint eastwood' feel to it.

Cheers John

I'll read the review later when I get home. I guess it's one of those swings and roundabouts, pays ya money...type things. Nice looking piece of kit though nonetheless, especially with the holster - :D

Its the only problem with that gun & film. BTW why, if the rebels are the good guys and the Empire the bad guys, is it the Empire that use british kit and the rebels German Stuff?

Hi John

Thanks for the site reference - what a great site - :D and a good review, too - all the info. and opinion I needed - I reckon I'm sold on the HFC version. I've already got a PFC blowback model gun version which is a lotta fun - be interesting to see if the HFC wooden stock/holster fits that - fun, fun, fun -

i used mine for 10 minuites at the arhnem game, one or two bad points

its inaccurate , you have to get close.

its too bloody big, i had to drop my mp40 to use it, and in a belt its too big
a holster makes quick draw non existent, so as a quick backup when your `40 mag goes empty its useless

good points

power. 410 fps on abby ultra
33rd mag - makes up for accuraccy.

i will use mine if my mp40 breaks , (as a standby gun)
or carry it on its own , (when as resistance/werewolf)
it would be a challenge to play useing ONLY the "broomhandle"

on my belt i now carry a p-38, just for looks as hardshell holsters are anything but a "fast pull"
and its a blank not a gas BB. so when the cameras are rolling, it will look sound better
