Damn. Version 6 gearbox. Was hoping it would be a similar system to the Ultima MG42 - complete with the quick change spring guide (an *extremely* useful feature) Still, where there's a will, there's a way! :D

But then again, the Ver6 is one of the most user friendly to disassemble and rebuild

...and if anyone has an old broken Thompson, they can rob the parts from it! :wink: :good:

That looks really nice. Anone any idea what this is going to cost???? Ideal for re-enactors how have a combo.
