thanks for reminding me though i really must use it a bit more. since making the springfield and thompson its fallen by the wayside a bit. really must make myself a few hicaps or midcaps some time though as at open days it really suffers

I'd still rather buy it from HK. They cost half the price and if they break, buy another one and use the old one for spares! A lot of UK retailers aren't very technically proficient when it comes to repairs/upgrades anyway, despite saying they are and your "warranty" only ends up covering the retailers' balls ups anyway.
It's high time some of our UK retailers "live in the now" and sort out their pricing, their mark ups are sometimes over 100%!!! I for one will never buy a gun from the UK again, I only buy ammo and gas and then only because it's not economically viable to buy consumables in small amounts from HK.

being as I ripped open the gearbox when it arrived a uk warranty was about as useful as a chocolate teapot to me
