This is our first airsoft conversion.
An AGM MP007 (MP40) converted to a wooden stocked MP41, with a slight chassis modification.
The wooden stock is made from two solid pieces of wood, pinned together.
The basic shape was carved and then sanded to achieve the stock's shape.
The motor housing was routed out.
The butt plate is made from filler and the original from the skeleton stock from the MP40.
The trigger guard was salvaged from the donner gun and butchered to fit the new carved stock.
A strap has been added from a C96 holster.
The on/off switch, located in the MP007's pistol grip was relocated to the more accessable location, behind the metal housing, and above the trigger.
Tell us what you think.

good work there matey
team shoot and scoot, TL
Cheers. Yer i did, took a bit of work 'cause the router didn't reach all the way down, but nothing a chisel cant solve.
Ahh I may have confused you all... when I said two pieces of wood I meant one on top of the other
not down the centre.
Tis at the rear of the stock just to give it its shape.... one piece wasn't quite big enough. Haha.
nogson.
sorry my fault for not making it clear enough, and that does strangely look like a join :S haha
your idea for the battery would have been much better... tis a little snug in there.
I had a few problems getting it to work, for some reason the trigger jammed, but solved that... then got a tad worried when the bb's were coming out like it was a pea shooter just found I had a piece of wood shaving in the hop... never healthy. :/ but all that is solved and it's firing better than ever!
Now what to make i've been thinking about making an M1 garand, or possibly a springfield...?
Do you have any pictures or suggestions as to where to go / how to start?
Ah schweet. Trouble is I've got the socom version of the M14, I'm gunna need to extend the barrel some how otherwise I'll end up with a shorted version of the M1 Garand... not ideal haha!
I was thinking I could add an extension but larger than the barrel just to give it added length, and shouldn't effect the accuracy, but what you've said is helpful. Cheers!
I'll see what I can do
Tah!
It wasn't mythical, just not used in the war. It was designed for civilian or law enforcement us immediately post war. Might as well get a longer barrel and make the full sized one though, it'd be a lot easier to find parts/pictures if you're making it yourself.
RE: MP41, looks great mate, are you going to stain the stock? Seems like a pretty easy conversion, wonder why more people haven't considered it.
Show me a man who will jump out of an airplane, and I'll show you a man who will fight!

Or why AGM isn't churning out MP41:s now that everybody has a MP40?
They could sell a boat load of these.
They weren't really a frontline weapon, so the market for them is limited.
I'd be surprised if quite a few of them weren't used to pop off at Russkies in '45. I've seen pics of Adolf's Dads Army using everything from WW1 Lebels to MP44s.
They weren't really a frontline weapon, so the market for them is limited.
Agreed..But they still could sell a boat load on the sheer "OOOOH!I want one!!" factor..I blame most of my gun buys on that..
Hell of a good looking weapon you have there, ever thought about mass production??
im pretty sure you could find ample orders on here
Children are our future, unless we act NOW!
Well that makes me feel good about my MP41... I must say it makes me rather happy. Haha
Who would be interested in a MP41....? (not saying I'll be making them, just totally out of interest).
