That's a result of the Taiwanese, writing a Russian word, in a latin alphabet. 
Unless it's a deliberate attempt to avoid copyright/trademark issues as the do with their G36 and MP5, calling them "SR36" and "SR5" respectively.

Ah could well be, good point. From memory it was a TT-33, not SR, so that's probable.
All their models appear to be named SR-****, its probably just their way of doing things. I doubt they're concernerd really about trademarks, especially on Soviet weapons as there is basically no such thing (plus Tokarev has been dead 40 years).
I've been waiting for a TT33 for about 5 years...
