I think they should concentrate on getting Garand and Kar98s sorted. Was looking at the amount of MP40s and Thompsons at Haggard, only a fraction of that number of trooops would have had them... long life the main battle rifle!
Whats the German semi auto rifle? G43? That would be quite nice.
more Garands..and Grease guns.
Id love to know there reasoning for bringing out another MP40. If you want a piece of the ww2 pie. bring something out thats not been done before!!!
I liked my MP40 until it died completely at Haggard.
Any idea of the problem, Barrie?
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
I'm guessing it's a bad connection somewhere because it's completely dead. Will have to take it apart at the weekend.
Hopefully just a blown fuse! (if the AGMs have fuses fitted?)

I got some news about this mp40... Today i just recieved SRC's new catalogue... And there is a photo where you better get a feeling on how the finish looks... And to mee it looks good... Full Metal... 220 bullets per magazine...
It's full automatic only...
And then to suprise number 1... It got blowback... No it's not gas because it says it takes a Mini type battery... So like the new TM AK74...
And suprise number 2!!!
No i don't know if i want to spoil it...
Well what the hell... They are also making a MP41!!! Although it's a photo of a original in ther magazine, so i doubt it will be out on the same time as their mp40... But both will have blowback...
Blimey! That just might make me turn to the dark-side...

Sounds excellent to me. Any ideas on the likely price? Not cheap I would guess.
I assume the mags will be Hi-caps if they're 220 rounders, I was hoping for mid caps. I do hope the mags are interchangeable with the AGM ones though so we can at least have a choice.
The option of having a MP41 is also welcome, although I don't know how popular they will be.
Nothing on the price no... but looking at their other prices i think it will be around 300$... But that's just a guess...
And about the mags i don't know... But at least i think it would be possible to put AGM internals into the magazines...
And totaly agree on the MP41... But it will make a fine addition to my gun collection... And the guns are on a page called mp40 series so maybe we also will see a mp38...
And indeed we need more allied guns...
This reply only contain my thoughts on the gun so i really don't know...
And yes... i am a mp40 freak
EDIT: Picture from the magazine...
It does seem strange that they're creating what was a very rare gun (the MP41) and ignoring what people are crying out for - Garand, Lee Enfield, Bren, Sten, M1928 Thompson. Hell, even the G43 was more prevalent than the MP41!
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Very true I can't even think of who used it. But the up side might be, they make a range of weapons.
it was for law enforcement etc wasnt it? or am I thinking of something else...
I suspect this has been done because its easy. where as a garand, lee enfield etc isnt so easy to make
The MP41 was Hugo Schmeiser trying to make a few quid. It was used, but by Police units, and units of the SS with a less-than-salubrious history (There is a fairly well known pic of Jurgen Stroop, where some of his cohorts have MP41's)

I hope you're right about the price KEP, I could coipe with that.
I'd still like to have an MP41 but it would be more of a collectors piece as the only people who would be historically accurate using one would be our 2 resident FG. Heres to hoping they will just be one of many in a WW2 range!
Sod that historical correctness, blowback? wooden stock? 220 round mags, I'll be getting me one of these if they do come to our shores. I dont set out to offend the purists, but I'm as politically correct as I'm historically correct, that's the trouble with airsofters
As for the mp40 / armalite thing, yes a lot of us at Haggard had mp40's, cos they're about 70quid. My mate's boat wasnt floated so he flogged on his ( to me ) but I loved it and I'm selling a couple of my old fav guns to fund a tanaka k98, then I need a load of mags for it. Mp40 is a good cheap entry gun as is the armalite. The armalite is so popular as it's so versalitle, made to so many different standards. It does the job in an airsoft game as will this new mp41 if it arrives. If it brings more people to the game, then why not, so much of airsoft is about looking cool and another big bit is having a cool gun.
The option of having a MP41 is also welcome, although I don't know how popular they will be.
I didn't think the MP41 saw service with the German Army? They were only given to Police and other Civillian Authority units. Anyone want to tell me otherwise? Were they?
EDIT: Haha, only just saw Lardassmonkey's other post (^two up^) saying exactly the same thing.

and while lurking on the src website I found they are making a luger. all three type's. Might give WE a run for their money. surprised no one else reported this. address www.starrainbowcompany.com.tw
Still nothing yet as far as I know. I had heard they were going to be 8mm though.
8mm. Nah, dont think so. NONE of SRC's current shooters are in 8mm - why change something that works?
8mm has only really made an impact with Marushin. How many of their GBB MP40's or 8mm pistols have you actually seen in use? Nowt, would be my best guess.

I was hoping it was BS as they do look nice and making them in 8mm would be a waste.
