Seeing as I'm pretty much housebound at the moment, I've been tinkering (again) and looking at throwing a sten together out of bits of metal, wood and plastic that I have laying about. I have a FAMAS gearbox, which will fit with a squeeze. I also have an M4 barrel and HOP I can butcher to a side feed.
The only foreseeable problem is that the FAMAS nozzle doesn't quite seal in the M4 HOP. My only alternatives are to a)fit a longer nozzle, b)butcher the hop even more, or c)extend the famas nozzle in some way yet unknown to me!
Does anyone have an M4 nozzle they can measure for me please? Or even point to a site that lists nozzle lengths?
(BTW, I'm using a TM 2 piece HOP).

sarge,
I believe the longest nozzle is the one for the tm Steyr AUG, although I do not have the size.
If you look on `ehobbyasia.com` site , go to upgrade parts for aeg, then nozzles. It does show pics of all the nozzles and the AUG one looks longest to me , I have read it also somewhere but can`t remember where. Hope this helps.
