Yes mate that sounds about right 150ft mine may be the same I just know it was good enough for the job but this is going back a few years now.
As said on the first page the point in this system is to be safe while you take out a vehicle or a building, we can't fire large heavy projectiles safely within the law so the idea was to use IR but possibly with a pyro for smoke only.
As said the dummy projectile / pyro could form part of the CCT.
For anyone into electronics the sounder on the chest rig can have a relay etc to set of a pyro to simulate a hit.
From memory I think most things like this get fired quite close up like 100ft or they tend to miss anyway.

100-150 ft sounds reasonable for a Panzerfaust or PIAT TAG. The Panzershrek were capable of a bit more than that so with the extra weight and size may feel a bit hard done by if the have to get within 30 metres.
